For My Favorite Rocket Scientist

My boyfriend (who has his masters in aerospace engineering) and I recently had our 1 year anniversary; He bought me a gorgeous diamond necklace.. and I made him a quilt.

I had it professionally quilted and received the wonderful comment of it being the most square quilt that she's seen. Only one other quilt that was 80 years old had better seams than mine :)

Biggie's Binky

Biggie's Binky is an organization in honor of Bennet Ian Grimes. I've made this blanket to donate by crocheting a simple and popular pattern. I like crocheting because it lets me have more freedom with colors than using fabrics with an established color pallet.

The flowers were made with a special loom and took no time at all. <3 them!

My first post on my new blog! After years of quilting and following numerous other blogs on the web daily I've decided to start my own. The first quilt I'm posting is one that a friend had me make and I had a hard time mailing it away. The main reason is that its a pooh bear quilt!

Other reasons: the amazing color pallet, quilting, and embroidery with a name similar to mine.
